Last night, Nai's House was honoured to attend the Bicester Mayor Making ceremony at the John Paul Centre in Bicester. The event marked the transition of leadership within the town. We are thrilled to share that Nai's House founder Gem Barrett and Trustee Helen le Brocq represented Nai's House at this important gathering. During the ceremony, we were humbled to receive a generous donation of £1,140 from the outgoing Mayor of Bicester, Councillor Alex Thrupp, having been one of his chosen charities.
On behalf of everyone at Nai's House, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Councillor Alex Thrupp for his unwavering support over the years. His dedication to our cause and commitment to improving mental health in the community is commendable. This generous donation will directly contribute to our ongoing efforts to provide vital support and resources to children and young adults in need.
As we bid farewell to Councillor Alex Thrupp, we warmly welcome the new Town Mayor, Councillor Harry Knight. We look forward to collaborating with the incoming Mayor, working together to address the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
